I'm currently in China - I just finished a conference, and giving a 3-day workshop on the treatment of anxiety disorders. every time I come, it changes. First time was all gov't cars and bicycles. Then it was gov't cars, taxis, and bicycles. Then taxis,bicycles, and scooters. 2 years ago lotsa taxis, some private cars, and scooters. This time the private cars outnumber the taxis.
Most taxis are hyundais or VW jettas. There's a decent # of indigenous cars (Cheery? I think...), but if you're a big deal, you drive an Audi A6, black. I've only seen black ones. There's also a fair # of BMW 3 series, a few 5 series. Very few Benzes, one mini. One Audi TT, 2 evos (those,like the one pictured, are just totally riced out). A good # of Honda Fits, too. Lotsa small 5 door hatches that looked small enough that I could pick up and throw.
