Very cool It's really not a horrible bike to begin on. Just take your time learning, it won't bite you if you take it easy while you're new. I had an F4i as my second bike. It's a great choice of motorcycle. Like everyone else says, MSF IS A MUST. It will teach you how to stay alive and aware on the road, which is your job ALL the time on a bike. Shiny side up!

the F4i is probably the slowest 600 you can buy.

I don't think its the best beginner bike out there, but I do think it is fine for a beginner. 600's are pretty anemic under high rpms so you'll be fine if you take it easy.

Doubt it - it becomes an addiction. I still miss riding but wife said its okay to ride again when I turn 35...so 5Y, 4M, 30D and counting.

i think any bike can be a great beginner bike.. just depends on the rider.

ride smart. and more importantly, ride safe. and take the class

my beginner bike..
