1) Charge up the CC.
2) Negotiate with the CC for 25 cents on the dollar.
3) No mark on your credit or you don't pay.
4) Use the money for the down payment.

But lots of other people are doing this and shows like Carmen Wong Aldich on CNBC are advising people of this exact method. The point is it's wrong. So, why on the business channel are they helping people to do it?
