they seem to keep going higher and higher. does anyone know how they are computed and how to reduce them?

I don't think there is anyway to reduce them...


computed something like this:
regulatry cost recovery fee
federal excise tax
federal universal service charge
state 911 tax
state public utility surcharge
+local taxes


yeah it sucks, just expect about double what normall sales tax is

just switch from cingular to verizon since cingular f%&*s you over on those tax rates! cant believe i paid 400+ on my last bills.. jeesus

you would have to have you bill have the address from a state where the taxes are less on you account.

yea most of the time cingular and verizon have the highest taxe's. The also have the best service. so you pay what you get for.
