Default CEL Code PO411

my engine light is on and i used the OBD II to read the code and it said "PO411: Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow" and when i reset the car the light turns off... and when i run it it doesnt turn it when the engine is all warmed up but when i start the engine the next day when it's cold.. the light turns back on... so it seems that when i start the engine cold the lights turn on and when the engine is warm i can go w/o it turning on... so what do you think the problem is? the VAC hose could be leaking.. im not sure...but if it is leaking.. shouldnt the light turn right back on after being reset?

thanks Bert for getting the Code translated for me

Check your vaacuum hose routing aroung the intake and going into the throttle body area. An unplugged vacuum hose or misrouted hose will cause that code. The light won't come on right away...it can take a little while for the ecu to confirm system failure, and when it does, it will set that wonderful light. Did you install or tamper with your intake recently??

not really... lol it's just that i bought the car.. and i can assume that the recent owner could have had an intake installed and took it out before he sold it to me.. that's all i can assume.. but thank god it's not any misfiring problem =]

i just need to know where vac hose are and wut it's suppose to look like when it's connected probably

if only i could take it to your place for a check up Ben

Get a hold of a service manual and look for the vacuum hose routing, or you can compare it to another S. Something is probably misrouted or disconnected.
