I think it's terrible to remove their claws.... our cats we trained using those rubber glue on caps on their claws for the first couple months.

Just seems terrible to take away something that they use for so many things including self-defense.

I have a mad case of allergy w pet hair but after a week or so my body adjusted to it=no more tears and sneeze, don't even worry about baby sitting a cat, you'll get meet a lot of cat lover in your area and they will not let your meow go hungry.
we are actually baby sitting someone's cat right now because the owner got a baby

declawing is just wrong, try to imagine you chopping off a little kid's finger just because they don't know how to act. I have two cats and they do not scratch or bite anything that i don't want them to, it's about training and to letting them know what's going on. You are not only removing their claw, they get emotionally weird

you can use chemical and gadget to keep them from doing whatever but you can also train them so they know exactly what you do and don't want them to do. for example my cats will never go into the bathroom or on top of the table, never have any scratching problems(a made a scratching post out of left over carpet and 2x4's for less than 10 buck)

my little monsters will rarely sleep on their cat bed, they prefer mine

do it already!

it's WAY cheaper to get a kitty off a pound, i got my first meow at the baldwin park pound and she ends up costing me about 35 dollar

-desex
-deworm
-medication(she got a cold months afterware)
-mirco chip
-registration/name tag

and my second kitty is off the street, she ends up costing me about 200ish

-50 bucks for all the shots
-100 for desex
and 50-60 more for all the chip and paper work

but after that they are relatively cheap to own..

-water(drinking water)
-food(science diet [dry],can food [wet], catnip/treats[fun/optional])
-annual check ups(about 50-80 bucks)
-nail clipper
-poopie box
-carrying box

that's pretty much all

^ EXACTLY the same deal for me...

first was 35 from the cheap pet day at PetSmart once a year. 35 bucks for everything posted above PLUS FOOD AND LITTER ETC>!!!!

Adopted off the street my 2nd ....

That costed more like $115 after shots and worms and Neutered.

Still..... my second cat is my favorite. Adopted him when he was all bloody and starving from being attacked. It's not often you find a cat that is actually loyal to the family but this one really is.

holy sh-t, double deal

our second cat(off the back alley) was as royal as a dog, you can pick her up any time, pet her for an hour or two and she would just pur and will not say a thing. She will eat anything i feed her and happy as fwak all the time.

the first cat however is more picky about food and human interaction

nope of them will bite me or scratch furniture

YEP!

EXACTLY same on every line you wrote. The 2nd one eats ANYTHING, even pizza or just bread but ya neither scratch me or furniture ever.

The 2nd cat comes when you call it and cuddles against me at every moment possible. Follows me upstairs/downstairs and sleeps right up against me or cries
