Default in case of my car gets stolen

Insurance covers OEM Optional accessories right?

such as Hardtop, front lip and the spoiler...?

i just thought of this out of no where..

can i just tell Insurance company that i had OEM stuff cuz i know they wont cover

my mugen stuff...

Read your insurance policy. If it reads "will return car to like condition" then they will cover anything you have a valid receipt for.

Other than that it is only covered if you have it listed and pay extra for insurance.

depending on the insurance company your using Brian. My friend had farmers and they replaced all the aftermarket stuff he had on the car, but he had to provide receipts for all the parts he bought. Talk to your agent and they should be able to tell you if they'll cover it.

Isn't having it in the car proof enough that you purchased the item? I had a friend whos insurance paid for his mods by showing them prices of the product from different website. And they gave him the lowest amount.

It'll be hard to prove unless they took note of that on the car when your purchased the insurance. You would have to point out that you added this and that to your car.
