Just got a memo from my boss that the car tax is back to what it was before as of today. I am not sure what is going to happen to the people that paid the old rate, but check the DMV website for info.

PS sorry for the typo in the title, can't fix it.

Bastard!!!....jk...Damn I just bought my car 2 weeks ago and had to paid the stupid tax. Do you guys know if they'll refund the money?

I'll be waiting for my refund.

I think they estimate that refund checks will be sent out near the beginning of the year.

I was watching the news last night and they said if you haven't paid your registration to just subtract 65.5% from the old registration fee and write a check for that amount. So even if it shows that you have to pay that amount you only pay a fraction of it.
