Car Show Thoughts
I am trying to gather information as to why to Socal car show scene has died out so bad over the years for some of the venues. I am trying to gather information to see what people would love to see at those events?
1. Girls
2. Better Car displays ( Cars all get screened)
3. More Girls
4. More Activities. ie.. things for people to do.
and please just add a number and keep the list going.

honestly i think the car show scene just got a little played out.
it was cool the first few years or so but after that every show you would go to had the same exact cars with the same mods. and then 2 shows later that same car is a different color. and then a year later someone copies Joe Blows car from a year ago so it looks like the same car but it's not.
and then when you get tired of looking at the cars you go just for the girls but when you realize you can't ask any of them out you get bored of that too.

anyway I think he's perfectly right about everything he mentioned(except for the last part
). I think the lack of activities is also a major draw back. I mean I love lookng at cars, but after about 20 minutes it gets a it boring. Especially since you can't do anything, but look at them.

6. Beer(yes i know, but seriously it'll attract so many people)

well,... here r my list that i don't want to c:
1) neon light
2) altezza light
3) getto gt wings
4) vertical doors
5) fat rims that goes over the fender
6) lcd all over the car. & speaker
7) 5 inch muffler enough to stick my head-in
8) ugly short girls w/ boob job
9) APC.... u know what i mean
10) pink paint job. heheheh(hopefully, i'm not offending webdiva)

This is an easy fix. Stop having so many damn shows. Hawaii has one major show a year and thats it. Then they went to two shows. If you guys stick to one show then its good to go. And above all have more money for the winners.

the cars showing have become a bit extreme and the quality has dropped quite a bit.
also the girls that "model" at the shows have become younger and younger and at the same time more heinous.
people in the show scene have complained that judging has become a matter of who you know and not so much on modifications and presentation.
with the diversity there is now and the saturation of modified cars, more categories should be set up and awarded.
when promoters are charging so much for entrance fees and display vehicles (among other things) it doesn't seem quite fitting for winners just to go home w/ a pat on the back and a trophy.
bottom line people are sick of seeing the same thing over and over when they can just go online and see pictures after visiting a show and had seen all the cars before.
btw, thanks for continually modding/changing your car so we can see something different at the shows
