That

"Even if she signed all the docs" -Chair

Once you sign the sales doc, there is no return. 2.5% is collected, and inserted to a trust account of the dealers.

but u can sign all the docs and u cen even give them a check and pay the car in full.. its not a very likely situation.

but if they decided last min that they dont want the car... they are entittled for their money back and not binded to the contracts they already signed.

That's what my instructor told me. S2k Dude has a salesperson license.

What car is she getting? My cousin works for Audi and I'm sure he might be able to give a better deal. Also i think your friend should get her money back but i don't like when people do that. She agreed to it and now she's taking her word back.

The salesperson there SUCKS and deserves to have this canceled. They are claiming they will have it by a certain date (they will not...it is not even being assembled yet), they claim she has to pick it up within 72 hours

Everything with them is high pressure.

They just suck.

Well if the car isn't made it will make sense. I didn't read the whole thread.

nicotunes,

you have to provide the deposit contract she signed...so we can read what the "conditions" are. on a side note, deposit and downpayment are not the same thing, so you can't use those words interchangeably.

the code you copied and pasted does say, if the "conditions" are not met - so depending on what those conditions are would dictate whether she would be entitled to a refund of her deposit.

secondly, if you edit a contract (crossing out, etc.), i believe it needs to be initialed.

what i would do is file a small claims court case...and proceed with dealer B.

dealer A would probably refund the money + court fees, rather than go to court.
