I've found that Craigslist is so full of scams. I email people with questions and they reply with a generic message or they choose to ignore my questions or they don't reply at all. I'd rather find a roomy on here so I know they are reliable and live with someone with similar interests so I can meet new people. I never thought finding a place would be so difficult! =)

If you are enrolling in school or something like that, you can often find many rooms that are associated.

I've been born and raised in LA (still live in the area), and the price you're asking along with your other expectations is about...50% less than what's realistic. If you're looking to live in the city of Los Angeles with a parking spot, your own room, and furnished with a bed/table/etc, this will cost AT LEAST $1,000 a month (if you're lucky) and even in that case, you're going to live in a sketchy/not-too-clean/slightly-dangerous-at-night area. If you want something in that price range, you will 100% have to share a room with someone (and the room won't be big lol).

Craigslist isn't really full of scams (in person), but most of that stuff you have to deal with in-person before handing anyone anythng or signing anything.

Much luck my S2k friend

That doesn't make sense to me. I live in vancouver and have all of my requirements. Los Angeles cost of living is 20% cheaper than Vancouver.

Sigh.. Why must nothing work that I want to hah...
