im guessing if its still the 2.0 liter which it probably is then it would be ap1 regardless of outer appearance.
i think for example the integra LS in america was a dc4 and a same year GSR. (basically just different motor) was a dc2. so it could be the change the chassis code only when the engine was different.
ie. all 2.0 liters are ap1s and 2.2 is ap2.

smirfs2k05: I'm posting on SoCal because I live in Socal most of the times and I have 07 here by the way, but I am talking about another car that I have overseas.

Yes Guys, right, but why then my VIN is JHMAP11304T200453, which means 2004 and AP1 ??!?! about the 2.0 I know this case, US switched to 2.2 in 2004, and Jap in 2006, all other countries still have 2.0.
But what's the case with AP1 and AP2, is the 2004-2005 Jap also considered AP1, but new look ?

At the end of the day, all you have are speculative answers and nothing concrete. This question would be much better answered by the U.K. S2000 forums would it not?
But according to this entry in Wikipedia.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_S2000
irregardless of the engine for the Euro model which didn't change, the chassis code did change to Ap2 to designate the 04+ model with the revised suspension and cosmetic updates. If your car is indeed an 04, it should be showing ap2 in the VIN, not ap1.
