Camp Pendleton World Famous Mud Run?
anyone do last weekend's events?
i'm going this sat. did it a few years ago and was pretty fun. surprised at all the fat people that did it too--it's cool that so many people did it just for fun. few words of advice:
1. there will be 1-2 hours of traffic between the freeway exit and the parking area.
2. there will be a "hill" that is LONG. like maybe 2-3 miles. you'll know it when you get there--it will be about a mile into the race. it's gonna suck. just beware.
3. you will need to pick a good place at the start line if you want a good time. the times between the fast people and slow people will vary a lot, and slow people are really slow. you'll spend a lot of time pushing through if you're stuck in back.
anyway, any other runners here? (i'm not really a runner... just try to stay fit. i see gunshow at the arcadia gym every once in a while.) maybe if some of you are out in arcadia, we can run together once in a while.
