Wow I purchase wheels from Jay a few months back and I meant him at one of the meets before too. Seem like a nice guy. But then again I don't know him personally. Anybody can just pretend to be nice just to get what they want. But wow that's shady of him to sell the hardtop to someone else knowing that he still owes you $1200. Probably a life or death situation for him to be doing something like that? Maybe he owes the mob

Hope this gets resolve soon. Next time don't put too much trust in others even if they're someone you know for a very long time. Best friends can become enemies. Money makes the World go round. True story

Good Luck

wow, just got done reading all three pages and this seems pretty ugly to me. Pretty messed up that he went and sold the top and kept the full amount and didn't pay the original owner a dime. that's pretty jacked up. And second this is pretty weird because i was going to trade my OEM BB top for this mugen one and jay or jdmghostrider seemed fully content it was his and he wanted me to add xxxx (actually about 300 dollars more than he owes 2QYK4U) amount of dollars on top. luckily i didn't do it and if i did i would have resolved this with original owner and jdmghostrider.

this is going to get ugly people need to pay up debts

That isnt the lesson learned here though, as the buyer has not had to face any recourse yet. The lesson learned here is do not help people with no money mod their car LOL....

Thats straight BS if the CO knew about the debt ahead of time and didnt even say anything to the Jay guy. Id be livid.

2qyk4u should find the receipt and repossess the hardtop.

He doesnt have a receipt or anything in writing correct? I do not think it is the CO's responsibility to get involved with whoever has a previous debt on an item, he simply went there and purchased a top, thats business.
