[QUOTE=jdmghostrider,Sep 22 2008, 10:11 PM] Mike, I can not post a date yet as I have no assurance from the insurance company of when I will be receiving the check.

Jay-
I'm not sure if you are talking about a PI (personal injury car accident), but if so, I am an expert in that field. If you are waiting on a car accident check, for suffering, future payouts, etc.. that can take months, and months. (lawyers, insurance, MD, DC) all have to agree on a number. I think Justin and his wife wants the money asap so they can move on with their new home.
What I recommend, as in good faith to Justin is to provide him with some kind of collateral for the time. Like a set of wheels, or whatever that is sellable or salvagable to him.
If that is not possible, use your credit card, and paypal him the funds.
Find a solution so we can end this thread.

I recommended a pretty decent short term solution just to give Justin piece of mind back on like page 3 or 4. It was, that if Jay is completely serious about repayment, then he should not have a problem signing a legal document stating how much he owes etc etc etc. Justin said he thought this was a good idea as they did not do this in the first place and would show that Jay at least cares....

Mike, I would love to give him collateral but I have nothing, i'm on stock wheels with bald tires, no bumpers, no front and rear crash beams. One of those delinquent cards is my Visa. I've used all the money I could toward my personal issue. I don't feel like talking to anyone at this moment, yet alone meeting up with them until I have the money. This has gotta be the most embarassing and degrading thread i've ever been in thanks to those who have decided to look into my personal life. Thank you s2ki.

Update: No more payments made to date. Jay has been trying to sell other parts to pay me back. Not sure if he has sold anything, but no new money has come my way. Balance is still $700. Lot of money. Nothing to joke around about...

Update: I have not heard from Jay in about 2 weeks. Last time I heard from him he was trying to sell some seats on craigslist (he no longer has an s2ki account) and would give me the proceeds. At this point he still owes me $700 and hopefully he will make good on it.
