I thought Boeings just laid off a bunch of jobs in Long Beach and they're moving out of state.

 

Engineering may not be a wise chose for MBA if you have a degree in Finance. It would be much better if it is the other around though.

I have been looking to switch field for a while now (in the food industry), but no success. My company just promoted me and I don't know if I should stay loyal or make the jump.

Insurance does sound good. Another field I am looking into is real estate.

Someone can probably chim in if you have experience jumping from one field to insurance/real estate.

Nursing is a lot of hard, unappreciated work. Doctors typically disrespect you as well as the patients.

I know A LOT of nurses.

Yes, it pays well but way too much BS for me to put up with personally. Scheduling can be a PITA as well.

 

Where are all these engineering jobs you guys are talking about? I've been searching for a while now and I don't see the amount of opportunities you guys are talking about.
