Default cali job market and employment opportunities

ok so i cant take the cold anymore!!!!!!!! what is the job market like in the stae of CA? is it easy to get a good paying job meaning 40k and up a year. I have been doing a little bit of reading on the STATE department and i am also interested in maybe doing a program for the attorney general's office. basically i an curious to what the hot jobs for living in CA are. Any info would be greatly appreciatted

You can always sell cars and make that kind of money, pr more depeding on your dedication to your work place.

The job market is still not that great out here, but it is predicted to be on the rise. 40K is barely enough to live out here. The cost of living is pretty bad.

If you're an engineer with the ability to get a security clearance there are tons of opportunities. We can't hire people fast enough (1300+ last year, more projected this year).

I work for an insurance company and we are currently hiring account executives (insurance sales) and a senior claims manager. Both positions pay good salary with commission bonuses, and company car. The claims manager starts at above 70k and caps at 102k. PM me if interested in more details.

Engineering is indeed booming. Homeland Defense spending is sending Aerospace through the roof. Boeing has tons of openings.

Market sucks in IT. Looking into going to software development of some sort myself.

Hear Sharepoint or Mobile App Dev is pretty hot right now.

searching 'automotive' in careerbuilder.com yields TONS of engineering jobs.

too bad i don't have an engineering degree!
