alex, thanks for driving my car and showing me around the track. I def need to work on my brakings. My best lap was 2:06.8, hard to get a clean lap that day..and my engine started ticking...

Were you the one lowered with the AP2 wheels all around and ASM front and rear bumpers + GT wing? If so, your car looks really nice! Also, I will have to ask if the front inboard portion of the wheels rub the suspension at full lock.

Bosco was driving a white AP1 red interior with AP2 lights, ASM front bumper, white oem ht, black Advan wheels, and J's wing!!

No problem man, too bad your catch can was hooked up wrong or we'd get more laps in!!
engine starts ticking!?? can you be more specific!? mayb you should get it checked out?
and 2:06.8 is really impressive, you should have just ran super advanced!!
Our only lap recorded was a 2:05.8 with all that blow by.. I was hoping to see how fast we can go with the NT05s and 4.44 =p

Mike: Seems like we forgot another contestant in SM class lol fail ==> Bosco Chu 2:06.8!!
7 drivers in SM class~ that's more like it =)
and David's last name is Leung ^^

The ticking was pretty bad, I thought a valve or something is gone, did a $60 valve adjustment and the engine is smooth and strong now

I was a complete noob and hooked up the catch can wrong.

I am really disappointed that the 4.44 didn't give any advantage, its def a fun day but I wish it was cooler haha

4.44 should be a pretty big advantage in terms of shift points.... but only if you're fast enough to take advantage of it (low 2's...)

Bosco's car is an AP1 and I felt like I had to shift as much as an AP2 but not getting a better drive out of the corner!!
AP1 with 4.44 is still taller than stock AP2, which put the F20C out of vtec even more than the stock AP2 gearing =.=
I wouldn't say it is a disadvantage tho because it does have some gains at certain sections.. just not utilizing the full potential of AP1 gearing

AP1 probably needs 4.57 or 4.77...AP2 needs 4.3 or 4.44...wonder if anybody has done testing with either one at other tracks.

I bet that would be fun! I'd allow a company to use my car for testing as long as I was the one driving it
