when was the last time you change clutch fluid Mike?

btw, I have an used AP2 slave cylinder with CDV already deleted for sale!! lmk if u wanna pick it up =)
Is that the same as transmission fluid haha? I changed the tranny fluid like 10k miles ago...i never changed the clutch fluid if they are different.
Clutch fluid is the same as brake fluid! They're both hydraulic fluids!

As for tranny and diff oil, do you change those regularly? I change mine at least every other trackday. It'll help save your tranny and diff!

Oh haha good to know!

I changed them at 30k and was planning on every 15k miles from then on. But that is seeming to take a while to reach 15k. Too many track days in between. I might start doing them every tire change or something. I do oil every 5k.

And I believe I have 5 track days on my brake fluid right now. I was planning on having it flushed for my next event with new pads.

Take off the slave cylinder, and grind down the ball at the end of it to be smooth, and then regrease it.

Should fix it

Don't use anything fancy for the clutch. I'm on cheap dot3 fluid for the clutch and it works just fine.

Cool thanks guys. I'll check out the clutch fluid

Mike: Thanks for the tip on the slave cylinder. I'll have to look into that. I've never touched a slave cylinder before. That should make the clutch movement smooth again? That has no effect on the CDV though right?

CDV is an internal tube that needs to be taken out. Only so much hydraulic fluid can be pushed through there which causes the delayed engagement.

I use my existing Super ATE brake fluid after a brake fluid for my clutch. I figure since I step on it so much at the track, might as well "upgrade"! I think you'll notice that changing transmission/diff fluid every 2 trackdays will help with your shifting and keep your diff quiet plus ensure you won't be running on broken down fluid.

Nope, no effect on the CDV. CDV makes a small difference, but ultimately, the weak OEM PP and heavy flywheel are the bigger culprits to spinning.

IMO, get a AP1 (or lighter) flywheel, delete the CDV, and the car will catch hard every time. This also affects mis-shifts, so if you go into the wrong gear, you could possibly cause more damage than you would have with a strictly stock setup...

seems like we still missed out these two:
Kiwook Moon - 2:05.538 (I think this is the white car with the J's body kit, should be SM class)
Youn Kwack - 2:13.409 (I have no idea which class he's in)

XS needs to figure out a way to get all the participants/ timing right!!

I'm just gonna assume I dominated street sport. And Johnny Tran gets an honorable mention for super modified.

But yea, I have a feeling any record of season points is long gone.
