alex, thanks for driving my car and showing me around the track. I def need to work on my brakings. My best lap was 2:06.8, hard to get a clean lap that day..and my engine started ticking...

Travis ran an impressive 2:10! What was your previous best Travis? And where do you think you cut your times down on the track this time out?

I wasn't planning on tracking this month, but Joel invited me just the night before. I tracked on my oem pads since i was out of race pads. Although 2:10 is the fastest i've ever done, the pads did not allow 2 flying laps back to back; I quit most my sessions after only doing 3 laps.
I made up most my time on riverside, being brave enough to flirt with the OEM aero lift.

Were you full throttle coming out of Bus-Stop to Riverside, then full throttle exiting Riverside up to Phil Hill? I found that full throttle from Riverside exit to Phil Hill was much easier if you didn't track out too far after Riverside, which made for a better line through the kink.

Thanks! That sounds about right. If that's the case then I think I'd be happy with 2:10s

Sweet! You'll like it It is such a fun track!
My first time to Buttonwillow I ran a 2:11.x stock (besides brakes and rollbar) in the summer. My second time there, which was last Sunday, I dropped 5 seconds with the only additional performance mods being 255 non-stagger and coilovers and no passenger seat (because I don't have one, not for weight savings).

Sounds like a very good time for your first time there! Was that your first track event? I would really like to upgrade to KWV3 and 255 non-staggered one day as well, when I master my current setup and get away from being broke lol
