Button Willow August 12th and 13th
This is just a notice for those of you who are DRIVING enthusiests to let you know that there is an event at Button Willow Raceway on the second saturday and sunday of August (the 12th & 13th)
The event is being held by SPEED TRIAL USA
Check out their site for more info on this event and others comming up.
I haven't had any tracktime with other event holders, but I think SpeedTrial is very organized and helpfull.
I'd like to see a few more S2Ks out there
Philip

I've been with Speed Trials once already, never going to make that mistake again.

I think on the 11 is a speed ventures day
Price is $160. including lunch and all the bottled water you can consume. Without bagging too badly on SpeedTrials, I will say that you'll get more track time with less crowding at a SpeedVentures event. SV limits registration much more strictly than Speed Trials. (hence the slightly higher price) You'll also see many more S2000s at SV. Most of us share HunterEZs opinion of Speed Trials, and it comes from experience. (yes I've run with them before; no I wouldn't again. ) The folks who run ST are good guys, but most of us SoCal S2ki peeps significantly prefer the Speed Ventures experience.

Actually, we've been overordering on the pizzas lately. Had 8 whole pies left over at the last event. (btw... It's not always pizza... just most of the time. )
Sorry for the semi-hijack... back to the thread.
