Default Brand name rims?

Well i really want rims on my car but im not willing to spend $2500 for a set of nice volk rims with tires. Whats so wrong with brandless rims? Anything really wrong with them? Are you really paying more for the name?

I have had no problems with the cheap ADR brand wheels on my beater. I even curbed 2 of them. Best thing about that is I only felt bad for 10 seconds because they were so cheap. None of them got bent even after hitting some bad potholes.
