Comparing Bonds to Aaron is absurd. Aaron did it with class. As for respecting Bonds' abilities, obviously he doesn't respect it enough to keep it real.

Yes Aaron did it with class but can you imagine how hard it was for him? I am talking about the media and the fans that hated him for doing it. I am talking about the ability for a player to even get close to something like this.

What now? In all I've read on ESPN leading up to this moment, their propaganda has not been pro-Barry whatsoever. If anything, it's been somewhat neutral, with the only interest (surprisingly 
) in perhaps instigating more conspiracy and more arguments. That's what the media is good for, right?

Incidentally, I've also always wondered how I would feel about this entire HR race/fiasco if I wasn't a Giants fan.
I think the great thing about baseball fans is that for the most part, we are truly fans of THE GAME itself, not just the team. I'm curious how I'd view Mr. Bonds had he been playing for another team for all these years. I guess we'll never know.
But for now... my opinion can be found ^above^
