UPDATE:
Beverly Hills BMW just called.
Very apologetic.
Offered me the original sale price.
Sorry, losers.. You already lost my business.

LOL, do you even know how stealerships work? my buddy use to be a sales guy. all that you experience is normal, dont go cry over it. If its the best deal you can find why not?
See Honda World's customer service for one (great).

I would go for the best deal, i dont give a shit how much of a jackass the sale guy use to be or is. You only deal with them for a few hours to save a few grand vs going somewhere else because of "principle"

LOL do you even know how to get return business? Not all dealerships are like that and have better business sense. It's about more than the bottom line.

I was ready to buy yesterday and they lost my business (and, since most of my friends drive BMWs, LOTS of possible other business) because they want to bait and switch.
If you check the internet reviews of Beverly Hills BMW it is unanimously bad.
Nobody recommends that you shop there.
I agree that you (as the customer) shop for the best deal, but dude....come on. Don't piss on my head and tell me it's raining. Then expect me to dance in the rain.

The best deal is to find someone that work at BMW headquater in the state. This way you won't have to worry about insurance, registration, and maintance. That the beauty of working for a car company, not sure about people at the dealers

I'm actually okay paying a little more money because of my principles.
Maybe that's the only time you can really test yourself -- to see what's important to you.
I'm not willing to reward fraudulent and immoral behavior, even if it ends up costing me time (because I guarantee you I'll find that same deal somewhere else).
Yup. I'll take that trade off. And keep my principles.
