im not sure what ur getting at either.. a lease is the same thing as buying a car... the difference is the payment plan.
a lease you can beat the shit out of, treat it like shit, and return it
buy = you're f'd after warranty

I guess I don't understand the question.. your lease is over so you are doing a pay off to now purchase the car? If so, when we leased my wife's benz we were told how much the payoff would be at the end of the said lease.. are you simply trying to get a good rate on the interest of the said pay off?.. or are you looking to get another car to lease?

So you could pay less than what it stated on the lease contract (the payoff amount)? We didn't even go back to dealership.. just dealt with MB America directly. I suppose we didn't think much of it since we were definately keeping the car.. we only racked 8500 miles in 39 months.

No -- looking to end my current lease and jump into a new car.
Went to a bunch of Dealerships today -- will post my findings later.
But the long + short of it is this: at one dealership, they offered me $600/mo lease for the same car another dealership offered $450/month lease with the same down payment at both.
The reason I'm looking for a tip/hookup is to avoid places like the $600/mo ripoff asshole BMW sales agents.
Thanks for the tip on Tina -- I'll shoot an email over to her
