Bluetooth headsets
#31
I bought mine off the website: www.jawbone.com
Yah...a little pricey...but so far it seems worth it. It can get a little louder than the Voyager 510. Annoying thing though is the volume button. There's no up and down, just one button that makes you cycle through. Other than that, its pretty sweet.
Tested it again at a friend's place tonight. Started playing music on the laptop and put my head right near the speakers. I called my friend on his cell in another room and he could hear my perfectly. He could hear some distant voices, but couldn't tell what song was playing. Either way, main thing was he could hear me perfectly. When I switched off the headset and went to regular phone mode, he said it was a huge difference. Suddenly the music was blaring and he could barely hear me.
I'm gonna try calling somebody tomorrow during my commute on the freeway. So far only tried it on city streets and it seems to work pretty nice. Who knows...maybe couple more days I'll find some other annoyances, but so far so good.

There aren't really headsets out there that will help you hear what the other person is saying unless you get an in-ear headset with noise isolation or some cans that cover your ears.
