Ya, out of all of them, I think this is probably his first offense and I don't think that'd hold true for the rest. JMO.
Even so it doesn't make it any more RIGHT. I do feel bad that his career will be affected but then again who wants to have a doctor turn the oxygen on you and pass out and just have to wonder what he's going to do while your out........
Same way I feel about people in power such as cops, judges, priests, etc. Throw the book at them and then some.

They could be charged with intent to commit lewd acts with a minor. These guys, were chatting with someone they thought was a minor, had graphic conversations, made arrangements to meet, and showed up to the house with intentions of having sex with the minor.
