What's up So Cal, I want to take my GF on a Vacation to Hawaii this year for her Birthday. I do get discounts through my work, but I was wondering if you guys know who to go through in case I don't purchase it through my job.

I need Air and Hotel package from LAX or Ontario airport.

I recently went on a Maui vacation which me and my wife loved! From what I remembered, it is not cheap, lol. The cheapest thing was the airfare which my wife got alerted for a great deal Alaska Airlines had to offer.

As for hotel and car, I just went through the .com sites and research the best combo for the money.

Which island did you want to visit? I've been to Maui and Oahu and preferred Oahu. Maui was too slow paced for me, but could be enjoyable if you just wanted to relax.

I suggest Oahu. I moved from there almost 2 years ago. If money isnt a problem the best resort is in Haleiwa (north shore) called Turtle Bay Resort.

If you are in the AAA, they have a big brochure that covers all the islands in combination with Pleasant Holidays.
Check out Kayak.com too. I've been to the islands many times. Kauai, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Oahu, and the big island all are great.

Just do your self a big favor and try to get into the Hawaiian mood prior to leaving and not waste two or three days of your vacation getting into it. A massage helps.

Thanks for the input guys, I want to go to Oahu preferably. I looked online and its more expensive than it is through my work, so I guess I know where I am going to book through lol
