best phone and wireless carrier
I just want solid land line like voice quality.
In the UCLA area, which carrier has the best cellular service?
I dont care about data plans for a smart phone etc, just a basic phone with the best possible voice and reception quality on a solid carrier.
For the above should I get verizon?

Well, I have ATT and I would say it's pretty good 90% of the time. You do get a handful of dropped calls a week but the signal is good for the most part. Can't really comment on the other carriers though.
