I wouldn't get the Wii unless you plan on having people over all the time. I haven't played zelda or anything, but with what games I did play, it felt like a party system, ie once everyone left, it was just meh.

I never actually played it backwards, from gt4 to 1 but I see your point. Maybe there are huge improvements, I just got spoiled over the new releases . If gt5 does come out to be a worth it game, then I might be spending another 500 for the damn thing.
I guess what im trying to say is, as long as the game is fun it doesn't matter, like ps2 still has games that's being released up to this date even though the hardware has been maxed out a long time ago. So I guess my point is as long as the game is fun it won't matter if the console is old or new. What matters is it has the title you want to play.

PS3 ftw. I have always been a playstation man. I like the fact that the controllers are still pretty much the same and not complicated. I also like the unique titles.

Quick question on XBox 360, do you need to buy the XBox wireless adapter or can you use a run of the mill USB wireless adapter from Microcenter?
I had mine on wireless for 2 years (XBOX then XBOX 360)...but I "hard wired" my 360 because I wanted a faster speed online.
RJ 45 cable (the kind of cable the plugs into the back of 360) gives you about 100mbs of speed...a G Router is good for about 54mbs...and DO NOT waste your money on a N Router...they are a not "proven"...I spent 500.00 on new N Cards, and a top of the line N Router...and ended up taking ALL of it back because of connection issues.
BTW: I sell Telecom and Internet service for a living for one of the largest Service Providers in So Cal...so I know a "litte bit" about these things.
