Default Berk Test Pipe Leaking

Hey guys! My car is an 07 with about 44k miles (if that helps). I just bought a 63.5mm berk test pipe and apparently it's leaking where the header collector meets the test pipe. I tried every method of installing it from having someone push the exhaust to seal the test pipe to the header, to installing the spring bolts first. From what i understand, there is a 2.5 donut gasket that goes in between the collector and the cat. However, when i removed my cat there was no gasket between the cat and collector. Do you think this is what is causing the leak with the test pipe? Car is not being driven at the moment until I figure out the issue.

I think it's pretty obvious if there's no gasket where there's supposed to be one...how does it seal then?!

You need the "doughnut" gasket at the exhaust header and pipe junction. They're usually stuck on the header but may have been stuck to the cat. I bought a new one for my high flow cat but the system sealed just fine with the original gasket. Buy the gasket. It's a Honda part still in stock.

I actually had the same issue. Please see my thread and contribute to it. Maybe Berk will realize that they have something wrong with their test pipes. I tried to contact them but they seem to be ignoring all my emails. The shop that I purchased it from (Balladesports) also is not really helping me.

Photo bucket seems to be down right now, but pics should work once they are back up.

I bought mine from Ballade as well. I bought the gasket already but I will contribute to your thread. Thanks for sharing the link!

I bet you the donut gasket was stuck on the header. If the gasket wasn't there, the leak would be really bad. The leak I am getting is very subtle but it is there, I can feel it with my hands and I can hear it. Please continue to update the threads with any new findings.
