Default Bent Wheel

I've got a wheel (TRD branded) off a buddy's car (Solara) that got the lip bent a bit on a I-5 pothole a while back. He needs to have it repaired. Can anyone recommend some people or shops in SoCal? What does this normally run?

Thanks much all!

www.f1motorsports.com
They can fix most rims as long as you don't have special finishes (anodized bronze, etc.)

Damn... I once heard of a wheel repair shop in Hollywood that was supposed to be really good. Something along the lines of "If they can't fix it, nobody can."

Shoot... I guess until I remember, my post is useless, huh? Well... free bump for someone with a better memory than me

That looks like the old address for Tru-Wheel. They refinished a stock wheel on my 2000 Type-R and did a great job.

Here is the current info:

Tru-Wheel

North Hollywood, CA 91605

FYI, Truwheel is who Mackin recommends to fix wheels. They have a good rep..

In OC I'd go to Magmasters.

Just called and the lady said they can't repair any curbing on anodized or polished bronze rims. She also stated that she didn't know of anyone in Cali that might be able to. Hmmmm.... That can't be right.

Sorry for the threadjack but might be helpful to others.

Also called Mackin and they referred me back to Tru Wheel and didn't know of anyone else that would do that sort of repair. That's just odd.
