Hey guys

I have a problem. I need to move by the end of the year. My mom is selling the house and that mean no more living off of her . I want to just buy a house but it seems like the prices are just crazy right now. I'm looking down in the Temecula area since that's where I work but everything is $300k and up! IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!!!

Is this just a bad time to buy? I mean am I going to buy a house only to see the prices fall the next few years?

What do you guys think I should to do.

I'll have I make about $80k+ a year, have bad credit, and will have about $40k for a down payment.

...and I hate aprtments

Just wanted to thank everyone who sent me a PM. Too many to replay to all, but I think I'm going to hold off on buy a house and just........... rent, an apartment for the time being until the rates and or prices drop again.
