Back from the body shop
For those who did not see my previous thread -
I went from this:
To this:
The body shop did an excellent job on the car, even detailed it inside and out. Kudos to Honda too for replacing my 3 year, 30,000 mile sandblasted headlights for new ones.
As a side note, the car is having it's 3rd birthday next week, and I took a photo to compare the "now" to then - when it was one day old. Here's the pics:
Showroom new:
Three years young:
BTW: The body shop was Norm's Auto Body in the SFV. They do all the body work for the nearby Kolbe Honda. They even finished the job on time and came in $80 under the original estimate. $613 total to refinish and repaint the front bumper. The color match was dead-on too.

i actually got my car at Kolbe. i thought you swore not to go back to Kolbe.
anyways, i need some minor body work done, and if they do the work for Kolbe and they did a good job, then i may have to check them out.
thanks.

Yeah, Kolbe pissed me off good last year but I had no choice as to where to take it last week for a service and they redeemed themselves. I even posted a thread here stating that they did a great job on the last service and even went to bat for me getting the headlights replaced under warranty.

BTW: I got bad karma today...
Not 90 minutes after getting back with the car I went out for sushi and some road debris smacked into my front bumper scuffing it up. I'm checking it out, the big black mark came off but there are two shallow scratches (or scuffs) I need to try to buff out.

Hey, they did a great job from the pics. Too bad about the road debris though. Been there, done that. Typical that your brand new white sneakers would get stepped on the first day of school.
