Man Rescued From Avalanche In Wrightwood
WRIGHTWOOD, Calif. (CBS) ― Authorities say a man struck by an avalanche in Wrightwood was rescued Friday and teams are trying to determine if a second person is trapped.
A Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy says a man, who may have been a skier, was pulled from the snow in the town in the San Gabriel Mountains.
KCAL-TV reported from the scene that paramedics pumped the man's chest as he was put on a stretcher and put into an ambulance along a snowy road.
The avalanche occurred after an overnight storm that dumped new snow.

damn... we were supposed to go to snow summit tomorrow and then decided to go to mt.high instead cuz they got more new snow.... but yeah. i think we'll just stick to the original plan and go to snow summit instead

I went to Mt high on Monday and a kid crashing into me from behind. I end up cutting me an inch on my forearm from his snowboard. I won't be snowboarding anytime soon.
