1 pro, the question came up because that girl is desperate !
1 con, cant hit and quit cause parents are friends !
Basically nullifying any benefit of getting with her to begin with.
But, who knows she might be the ONE and you may not even know it.
I would give it a shot though, put yourself in her shoes, think would it be rather flattering or devastating when someone should accept or deny a blind date with you. I would give the gal a shot. The stuff I said above about pro and con was a joke. Seriously, who knows if this girl could be the ONE for you. Never know man life comes at you weird like that.

i personally refuse to do it. i know some people that have gone through with it and are now together and some even engaged, but i personally just cant do it. reasons being:
1. my parents' definition of "pretty" is my definition of mediocracy.
2. my parents' admit that the girl doesnt even have to be pretty to begin with as long as she's decently educated and is nice... which explains reason #1.
3. i do NOT want my parents involved in my personal love life until it has already become a serious relationship. until then, she's my girlfriend, not theirs.
4. my parents' definition of "nice" means not pretty.
5. my parents will already know too much about her family than i know and therefore try to constantly engulf me with their "advice" since "they know better."
my parents every once in awhile still try to set me up with their friends' daughters or church people, but i refuse to. and they never liked any of my ex-gf's either. lol.

My moms coworker once set me up with her nephew. My mom made me go. He was socially akward and geeky. It sucked. But just go for the hell of it if its gonna make your parents happy. Besides, sounds like your type of girl - go for it.
