8 bars is normal for the AP2. I've counted...thats what I use to get.

my temp gauge reads from 180 - 220 but my temp bar on my tach is still at 8 bars.

Man its good to know that 8 bars is about what everybody has. It makes me wonder since there aren't any numbers on the gauge!
