Default Ap2 and Temp Gauge

For those with a AP2, on your temp gauge, how many bars are you showing when fully warm?

Back in May my car showed 7 bars consistently and now it shows 8. Its probably not a big deal?!

..... ive heard 1 extra bar is a HUGE deal as it comes on only when the car is running VERY hot.

However IDK how many bars it should start w/ cause I run AEM w/ no temp guage.

I think it's 5 bars warmed up, and 6 bars when driving.

Engine shouldn't run over 200 IMO.

I'm turbo and I hit 210 on a hot day running hard.

I over heated only 1 time on the way to vegas playing with an M3 on long uphill pulls in top gear.

I'm guessing your turbo makes you run a bit hotter, right?

7 bars for me is the magic number. thats when i know the car is warm and ready to vtec.

though i think there was a track event in spring time where it ran 8....hot 100 percent cause..frankly... iwas a bit busy =]

I have an AP1 and it hasn't ever gone up from where it usually rests, a little short of halfway, even out on the track
