Anyone try Valet Detail Service in Santa Monica?
Hey everyone,
New member here, just picked up a '06 ssm! I've been looking around for a good detailer and stumbled across Valet Detail Service in Santa Monica. Looking to have a full exterior and interior detail to remove swirls/scratches/the whole 9 yards. Hoping someone has experience with these guys as they happen to be the closest to where I live
Thanks!

DON'T GO TO VALET.
This is my review of them on Yelp after being threatened with a lawsuit for my initial review. To this day, the owner tries to bribe me with a free car wash in return for me taking down my review.
*****I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER!!! THIS IS NOT A COMPETING BUSINESS REVIEW********
In my opinion, I spent over $200 for a $7.95 car wash, or even one that I could have done myself. The defects that I expected to be either helped or fixed by having my car professionally detailed were either ignored or made worse. The show-car quality I expected was not met and I have been bothered and threatened by this business since I posed my initial review on Yelp.
This business either did not know how to make my car show quality or did not provide enough time and attention to making it show quality, in my opinion. Although I have personally detailed my car before, I wanted a professional to handle it for a prestigious car show that I was putting it in. Instead of getting my car back looking fresh, I received a very expensive car wash with a nice interior detailing. It was a disappointment to see that there were sever watermarks left on my spoiler and what looked to be wax not taken off the front of my car. Supposedly these watermarks "stained" my car and could not be taken off.
The watermarks that have supposedly "stained" my car and the hazing that accumulated in the same area that, in my opinion, were caused by the detailing (it looked like the clear coat was taken off) have been removed and fixed by a commercial product I bought from Pep Boys. I did not have to spend another $200+ for another detailer to fix nor did I have to repaint my car. I will see if the person that I have been in contact will honor his "money back guarantee". I am regretful for getting involved with this business.
The response that I received from my initial Yelp review is disheartening as I put my trust and faith into this person. In my opinion this proves the immaturity this company holds. My trust in this business and the person has lowered even more since I have been threatened with a lawsuit for my initial Yelp review.

I used this dude, Eric at Envious Detailing. http://enviousautodetailing.com/
He has a shop a little south, but he drove out to me to do it. I don't know how often he does mobile detailing anymore, but I'm sure you can talk him into it.
He did a great job on my Berlina, which I think everyne knows is a really tough color to keep super clean. I think his prices are worth it, you get what you pay for. He did an amazing job. I thought my car looked good, but when he was done it looked like it was just off the showroom floor. I plan to hit him back up in a month or two.
Hope this helps.
