anyone running T1R 70mm exhaust?
i'm going to move to SoCal in early may, and i just had the T1R 70mm ordered. i really like to put the exhaust on, but i'm afraid that the cops out in cali might harrass me for having a loud exhaust. so my question is that if anyone out in SoCal, especially in SD, is running the T1R 70mm?
i have the J's racing header on my car too, is that ok in Cali? i know having a test pipe is probably a no no, but do cops really care that much and get on your case? so any feedback would be appreciated. i'm just thinking how much re-work i have to do to the car just so i wont get harrased by the cops.
my current setup is in the sig.

just put the silencer on if you're worried about it.
i run the T1R 63mm on mine. it ok as long as you're real easy on the gas and sometimes i do put the silencer on if i'm going out somewhere that might have a bunch of cops.

pm john_z, hes running a t1r 70mm
It's a bit loud at times. Like mentioned earlier, leave your silencer in the car and pop it in when needed. It will kill your performance though. As for header, it's not CARB certified in CA.
Just don't drive like an asshat and you'll be fine

so the J's racing header is not CARB legal, what am i gonna have to do? take it off? or just drive and not worry about it?
so would you guys say it'd be safer for me to leave the fuji exhaust and put the catalytic converter back on?
