Anyone with Invidia exhaust?
Hey guys i was just wondering if any of you who have invidia exhausts have ever got in trouble for having a loud exhaust?? Like getting pulled over, or just getting completly bad stares when you drive? Ive heard invidia is a pretty loud exhaust, but they look nice. Can you guys leave me some input? Thanks

I have the Skunk2 which I heard is the same exhaust, but different badge. It's pretty loud, but you can get silencers. I choose not to use them though cause the car just sounds mean and I LIKE it !

Invidia exhaust.
Very loud.
Drones when you let off the gas.
Rattles from 3-4 rpms (unexplainable).
Old versions hangers will melt your bumper.
People will hear you blocks away.
Looks stealer.
Good quality.
Save weight.
Deep/throaty on pre-Vtec, screams in Vtec.
Cheap $$$
I got a ticket for the exhaust before. I just slapped on the OEM and sign it off, than came home and put the Invidia back on. I never gotten any grueling stare nor would I ever care. I've only gotten complements for Invidia. "That's a mean sounding car," "That's freaken loud, but so nice."
I've had the Invidia for almost 2 years now and love it. The only complaint I have would be the dreadful droning when you let off the exhaust. I recently added a testpipe and it's basically insanely loud now.
If my S2k was my daily driver, I would probably sway another route. I personally could not bare the droning everyday. Since it's my weekend car, I would not put anything else on but the Invidia.
The Invidia rocks.

I put my Invidia exhaust on and thougth it was too loud with out the silencers, and too rattly with the silencers. I took some advise I found on the board and put the stock resonator back on and was very happy with it. I haven't had any problems as far as tickets or anything, but I only had it on for about 3 weeks before my S hydroplaned in the rain It's been in the shop for 4 weeks now and i'm waiting for a part that's on back order
Either way, I really like the Invidia. I haven't heard any other exhaust with the same tones. I actually sometimes drive without the stereo and just listen to the exhaust

Yeah i know how you feel about the car being in the shop! Try not having it for 3 months!!!! A month is just a taste what i had to go through, without my S. I feel your pain, but once you get it it feels so good, and plus they did a great job on my car!
Hmm, i really like the look of the invidia and the price, but the way people talk about the droning and the loudness of it makes me shy away from it....

Hey Panda
If you want as soon as I get my car out of the shop, we can meet up so you can hear the exhaust in person. It probably would be the best way for you to decide.
