Couple hours? Have you correctly detailed a car before

Wash
Clay
Paint correction ( easy 4-5 hours)
Wash/alcohol
Paint correction touch up
Wax1
Wax2
Wax3

That's if you use a canauba wax. If you use a sealant, seal, haze, 12 hour cure, seal again, 12 hour cure and seal the last time 12 cure, and final layer of wax if you want the warm feel.

The PC is only 119.00. It's worth your money. Even if you finf someone to lend t to you, you still need the correct LC pads. No one shares pads in the industry.

Find someone with a FLEX instead of PC. Far more superior, easy on the wrist and hand.

its a lot of work.. im wondering if i should just pay someone to do it.. most of the mobile detailers in my area only do everything by hand.. the car washes use machines, but their work is questionable.

Who you decide, ask if they are paint correcting your car and if they are using a DA buffer instead of rotary. Most mobile use rotary bc they can cut quicker, thus ruining your paint and clear. May look good, until you measure your paint and see they cut off 3-8microns.

Everything BC stated is over kill. Ive been detailing for years. You do not need to do all the extra steps. If you have never used a PC then i suggest you do some research on the detail forum on here.

you can combine some steps to cut some time,

wash & clay a panel after washing
dry
polish, depending on the need for correction, it could take about 5-10 minutes per panel (individual fender, hood, bumper), removing polish
wax.

start to finish is about 8 hours. less if the car is already washed, but depending on the need of correction.
