Why do want the Cintiq? I tried using it (as well as my friends at work), but we prefer a normal WACOM tablet.... the thickness of the glass as a refractive quality....where the tip of your stylus sits isn't exactly where the pixels down below will appear....really anyoing. Especially the reaction time. I'm assuming your some kind of digital painter?

A buddy at work has it and he is in love with it. He uses it everyday now, and prior to that used a normal wacom tablet for prolly the last 7 years of his life.
I really liked it too. Both of your comments are valid.... but neither really bothered me and dont bother my friend who uses it everyday at work.
The big plus is being able to see where your laying down the lines, sketching is much easier for me.

I remember a store somewhere here in L.A....they mostly sell macs at this store. They way I found it was by going to wacom.com and clicking on the cintique page. They then have a store locator thingy on there....Well, I went to this store and tested for the first time there. I'm sure you can bargain with them. Hope it helps. BTW, what do you do for a career?
