Hey guys, my lug nuts seem to be on too tight and I was wondering if anyone had an air compressor with a impact wrench I could come by and loosen them with real quick in the 626 area. Or even a big breaker bar with a long extension. Thanks for your time.
Also, does anyone know of any places in the 626 that will do shock replacement for cheap?

cheater-bar FTW.
(stick a pipe on the end of a lug wrench to make it longer, scavenger hunt for something)
or/and give it a wack with a hammer. FTW EVERY TIME.

If they are tightened significantly more than 80 ftlbs you should be worried they may have been weakened. Use a torque wrench and check them if they are real tight. Several owners have had lugs fail after being tightened to 120 ft lbs or more.

However, it's perhaps difficult to distinguish between over tq'd or just some kind of binding due to rust, dirt, etc. If that's the case you've LESS to be worried about. A tq wrench won't differentiate between the two.
To safely break loose any bolt/nut in general that's stuck for the above reason a quick hard snapping motion works best to loosen w/o thread damage rather then a gradual increase in pressure which tends to stress metal out more.
If it's just that they've been over-tightened....... scary. NEVER let a person tighten your lugs w/ an impact wrench, too few people can use one well enough to put things on near spec.
