Default anybody a chiropractor or physician

long story short...

i have an injury at the deltoid/rotator cuff region of my arm... i am trying to get an MRi, however, i need a chiropractor or a physician "referral" but i do not have a primary dr.. the Urgent Care facility i was admitted to cost 150$ per screening and i do not want to dish out another 150 for "hey, write me a referral".

can anybody help me out? thanks, i appreciate it.

#1 Who is your insurance company (HMO?)

#2 Doctors charges ALOT of money, b/c they are experts in the field.

An MRI cost ALOT, ALOT of money, and those HMO insurance who normally pays for everything, likes to screen you out in order to save their bank accounts.

#3 150.00 for an exam... that doctor is hurting my prices.

Physical, Medical History, Soap Notes, Vitals, Range of Motion, Subacromial impingement test, drop arm test, touchdown test, RC tendinitis test, Muscle testing, X-rays, Orthopaedic findings writeup...

After all of these diagnostic tests... then a referral can be written. (if the pt. is positive).

Exam/Orthopaedic Test- 150.00-200.00
Xrays- depends on # of views (100-250)
Xray review of finding readings- 100-150.00
(That's how much I would charge/bill with ICD)

So 150.00 to get a referral is cheap. No legitimate doctors is going to give you a referral without these testings unless they have no ethics.
