any loan specialist?
ok.. about two months ago.. in april. i decided to do refi on my mortgage. currently my first loan is 7% fix and 2nd loan 3.25%.. total amount being.. $120k
I wanted to pay off my mortgage so i decided to refi w/ wells fargo to 15 years.
anyways.. i went to wellsfargo and i explained the loan rep about my situation and i provided all my documents he needed. he insisted me giving him a check amount of $400 so i won't bail out on him as a security. he's telling me that he personally pays for the apprisial fee so if i cancel the loan he has to pay for the fees.. supposedly wells fargo doesn't cover or something.. so i told him okay. and wrote him a check.
few weeks goes by and i received a packet from wells fargo. however when i read thru the documents, the term was 30 years instead of 15 years. so i called back the dude. he says that they made a mistake and he'll send me a correct packet.
in may, i received a corrected packet w/ 15 years. i signed all the packet and i mailed to back wells fargo.
today 6/01/09, i get a letter from wells fargo about new lock-in rate?? at first i was confused?? why am i getting this again? when i read the document, it says about 30 years terms. so i called the loan rep again. he tells me that i don't qualify for 15 years.. after 2 months. so he tells me that i either take 30 years or cancel and i'm still liable for processing fee..
can someone tell me if i could get out of this deal without eating the processing fee? piece a sh*t should've told me before... why are they telling that i'm not qualified after 2 months.. also why did they even sent me a packet if i wasn't qualified? i'm so angry i'm about to rob the bank and pay back their fees..
