Any good dance studio/teacher in LA area?
Hi all
I'm looking for a good dance studio or teacher in the 626 area, but will travel down to downtown LA or riverside for some good lessons. Can't really find a good studio that focuses on these dance styles and having hardtime learning from youtube Only looking for poppin and locking, or maybe hiphop.
Anything will be very much appreciated, and thanks in advance!

ya, i am going to check that out. my friend goes there all the time, the jabbawockeez usually show up there too. thats where they practice.
Randy and Rynan from Jabbawockeez are also members of Groovaloos so there's a good chance you'll find them there. I just hope people actually go to take the classes and not just meet them
Culture Shock Los Angeles is also known for their breakin, poppin', and lockin' classes. They even have free classes. Here's their site for the info:

If anybody is in the Pomona area and wants to just session:
Freestyle sessions are one of the best ways to learn how to pop/lock especially since there are not as many classes out there that cater to that style with the popularity of commerical hip hop.
Also, if anyone is in the San Diego area this Sunday, April 13, 2008 and has nothing to do, come watch my team and I compete at Fusion Hip Hop Competition:
Kaba Modern will be competing if that matters.
