I've never had an issue, and I'm straight pipes.

They've never used a meter, I just ask one who doesn't look busy.

Court doesn't work like that. They cite you, you need to prove it to them. Justice sucks sometimes. Signing the ticket is not admiting guilt, not complying before the date or paying the fine is admitting guilt.

I don't think cops should be allowed to write a ticket for this without a DB meter.

i agree. because what's happening is just a bunch of nonsense $25 fix it tickets w/no way around paying the fee.

officer writes the ticket for being too loud, you go get it signed off as is showing there was never any fault, you still have to pay the "processing" fee. pretty soon they'll start adding on the "criminal conviction fee" i had to pay on my no seatbelt ticket.
