^ Or just LEAVE the aftermarket exhaust and have it signed off.
I've never had an issue, and I'm straight pipes.
They've never used a meter, I just ask one who doesn't look busy.

officer writes the ticket for being too loud, you go get it signed off as is showing there was never any fault, you still have to pay the "processing" fee. pretty soon they'll start adding on the "criminal conviction fee" i had to pay on my no seatbelt ticket.
