Default Angeles Crest some pics...

Swung by my friends condo...he just picked up his 79 porsche with a fresh new coat of paint....and decided to go up Angeles Crest, this past thursday...it was round 1230 afternoon. The ride was awesome, barely any automobiles up there at that time!

Great view, this was past Newcomb, this site was after the tunnels.

Stopped by Newcomb to have lunch. I came out and what do I see? Another s2k

Heading back down...one of my favorite twisties...

How far up is Newcomb? Thats the place where all the bikers stop for lunch right? Everytime I go up Angeles Crest looking for the two tunnels I get impatient turn around and drive back. I guess I need to keep on going.

If you take Angeles Crest to Newcomb's Ranch Inn and come back Angeles Upper Tujunga Canyon (right turn) to Angeles Forest Highway to Big Tujunga Canyon, you'll hit a nice long tunnel just after you turn onto Angeles Forest Highway.
