Alpine iPod adapter
I have a CDA-9835 and I was thinking about getting the iPod adapter for it but never did it because I kept hearing about how bad it was. Poor interface, slow search, some people even say bad sound quality. Does anyone in OC have one hooked up so I can play with it a little?

I had it in my tundra/alpine unit but I could not figure out how to change the artists/folders through the head unit, I had to put it in shuffle or unplug it to change artists...

i thought about and actually put an ipod in my car...but it just seemed like a real tast to fumble through the tunes while you're driving. I just leave it on random. So, to make things easier for myself, i just opted for a Giga Mp3 deck. One's that play Mp3s on DVDs. Those work great and i just randomize it...about the same capacity as a 4 gig mp3 player
